Chocolate Biscuit Pudding

Chocolate Biscuit Pudding is a classic Sri Lankan favorite dessert. A light, creamy, rich, mousse-like chocolate dessert with graham cracker crust on the bottom. Perfect after a spicy meal as a sweet treat!

Ingredients
  

1.5 cups Icing sugar

2 tbsp Cocoa powder unsweetened (Trader joes)

1⁄2 cup Melted salted butter

1⁄2 tsp Vanilla extract

1 packet Marley or Marias Gamesa biscuits (140g)

1⁄2 cup Whole milk

Instructions
 

• Add sugar to a bowl along with cocoa powder

• Melt butter and add to bowl

• Add vanilla

• Mix all together with mixer until smooth paste

• Line container with plastic food wrap

• Dip each biscuit in milk till soaked and then line container with layer of biscuits on the bottom

till fully lined (approx. 5 biscuits)

• With spatula, apply chocolate paste to biscuits till covered

• Add another layer of biscuits and apply chocolate paste (repeat 3 more times, total 5 layers of

biscuits)

• Top layer should be chocolate paste

• Place in fridge for 8 hours
