Bread Pudding

Bread Pudding

This is our island take on traditional bread pudding. I grew up eating this amazing dessert. Good for 3 to 4 people. Trust me, everyone is gonna love this.
Course Dessert

Ingredients
  

2 cups Whole milk (cow)

2 oz Unsalted butter

1tsp Pure Vanilla extract

1/3 cup White sugar

10 slices Classic White Sandwich Bread (Kroger)

1 oz Seedless raisins

2 Large eggs

Instructions
 

• For sauce: mix milk, butter, vanilla, sugar together and warm over low heat till butter melted

and sugar is dissolved

• Let sauce cool for 15 mins

• Beat 2 eggs

• Once sauce is completely cooled and is room temperature (CANNOT BE WARM) add beaten

eggs and mix

• Preheat oven to 300 F

• Line baking pan with wax paper

• Cut bread slices into 1 inch squares

• Line baking pan with bread

• Add sauce to bread, pour evenly throughout pan

• Sprinkle raisins

Place into oven for 30 mins
